Danny Phantom Amity Park Game Cheats

I have played some strange adult games over the years, but Amity Park is one of the weirdest. At first, I thought to myself “who the heck would want this???” However, I then found myself playing the game and I could not stop! This is an erotic game that has ties to a popular Nickelodeon TV show…yep, that is right!

Marathon Level: Both Amity Park levels in Globs of Doom are ridiculously long when compared to the worlds before (Zim's Town) and after (Retroville) it. Massive Multiplayer Crossover: Between several Nicktoons series, with SpongeBob SquarePants, Danny Phantom and The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius being the most prominent. Danny Phantom – Amity Park, USA Posted on December 1, 2014 by jaholst — Leave a comment Danny Phantom is the pseudonym for Danny Fenton, a 14 year-old boy who was transformed into a ghostly being on the Nickelodeon Channel fantasy cartoon DANNY PHANTOM (2004-2007).

Danny The Champion Of The World!

In case you did not know, Amity Park is a game that is based on the popular Nick TV series, Danny Phantom. This was a pretty fun show back in the day and featured Danny who was able to use Ghost Powers in order to save the day… or something like that. This game though has Danny and the rest of the gang being high school kids (and adults as well) just trying to get it on and live their social lives. It sounds weird and it is, but it also kind of works.

I Am The Man!

As this is an erotic game you probably have an idea of what is going on here. The game has you in the town of Amity Park and you can click various areas such as Danny’s house, the school and so on. You then enter that area and you can click on various parts to go to different sections in buildings. Actually, as I write this, I am realizing this has a great deal in common with point and click adventures.

The game has a lot going on in terms of the gameplay. Do not get me wrong, a great deal of this is talking to characters and watching them have sex. However, you also have many things to think about and each chapter has a checklist of things for you to do before you can move on. I actually really like this as it helps keep you focused on what to do and it stops things from being too cryptic.

Isn’t This Kind Of Weird?

Well yes, it is, but that is kind of the point. Watching Danny Phantom go at it with someone is not something I am saying we all needed to see. But in terms of the game, they have somehow actually made this work. The visuals are decent enough, but I do feel that there could have been a bit more animation to really bring it all to life.

I am fully aware that sexualizing a Nickelodeon character and his world is a step too far for some people and I am there with you. However, once you start playing Amity Park it is one of those games that gets into you and you want to keep on playing. I cannot for sure put my finger on why this is the case, but it is a game that is worth checking out. If you were a fan of Danny Phantom back in the day you will either love what they have done here or find it kind of gross!

Final Score: 8/10

Pros:

  • It sounds weird, but they did kind of capture the characters
  • The presentation is pretty solid
  • Plenty of different areas to go to
  • It has a very basic kind of combat
  • Lots of characters to deal with

Cons:

  • Is sexualizing Nick characters a step too far?
  • The game is perhaps longer than it needs to be
Overall rating: 8

Nicktropolis was a potato (with potato graphics) and was a game on Nick.com where users with a NickName (username) and password could safely chat to their friends by using either pre-written messages or the Nick Safe Chat dictionary, which blocks out offensive language. Users could also chat with chatterbots posing as Nicktoons such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Danny Phantom, Jimmy Neutron, Aang and Manny Rivera. Users could buy items in Nicktropolis 'stores' with NickPoints, which is the Nicktropolis currency. In August 2006 there was a long closing of Nicktropolis.

History[edit | edit source]

The beginning[edit | edit source]

Nick.com began construction on Nicktropolis in February 2006, and it went Alpha, or Pre-Beta, on March 14. At that time, Nicktropolis' population was limited to about 500, thus Nicktropolis was fairly quiet. However, Nicktropolis was open to non-users at the time.

Nicktropolis goes Beta[edit | edit source]

On June 18, 2006, Nicktropolis was closed for a short time to begin its beta phase. Also, Nicktropolis was closed to non-users, and only open to users with NickNames. All went smoothly in Nicktropolis until somewhat of a Nicktropolis tragedy, which was August 18, 2006 at 5:00 PM.

The closing[edit | edit source]

From 5:00 PM on August 18 to 10:30 AM on January 6, Nicktropolis was in its tragic closing. Many NickNames hosted electronic 'riots' against Nicktropolis creators. They are under fire until finally opening Nicktropolis to the beta testers on January 6 at 10:30 AM.

The opening[edit | edit source]

After almost 5 months of being closed, Nicktropolis was finally opened to the original testers. It was fairly quiet, because the only way into Nicktropolis was Wikipedia, which many NickNames have never heard of.

The official public opening[edit | edit source]

On March 6, Nicktropolis was finally opened to the public and linked to Nick.com so NickNames could get to it.

Nicktropolis now[edit | edit source]

As of May 17, the Nicktropolis population was 3,231,125, which makes it bigger than Manhattan by population. Nicktropolis' homepage was redone on May 11 to match Nick.com's new look. All of the angry message board posts have been deleted since the opening, and there are few reports of anger. Nicktropolis has new safety features from reporting safety concerns to accepting ground rules. Nicktropolis is now considered somewhat of a 'safe RuneScape for kids.'
